Atera doesn't have the biggest team or the largest marketing budget in their space, but they have identified organic search as a channel where they can compete. After working with multiple link building vendors — and experiencing some poor results — Atera came to Page One Power because of our reputation, as well as the fact that we could support content creation for them.
Atera initially signed on for a three month trial contract, but extended to six months, and then a full 12 month campaign after seeing the quality of the links we delivered and our investment into learning about their industry.

Atera knew organic search was a viable channel for them, so they hired Alex Milshtein as their SEO Manager, and tasked him with growing their search presence. Alex immediately identified ways for Atera to capitalize on their organic search opportunities.

Alex and Atera's first experiences with link building services did not turn out well. Alex had to provide all the content himself, and while the links were solid the first month, the quality quickly took a turn for the worse in the second month and Alex knew he had to find a new partner. After being disappointed, Alex set out to find "the best link building company in the world" (Alex's words) to help Atera improve their organic search performance. Alex conducted extensive research on top 10 lists, review sites, influencer websites, and Page One Power kept showing up so he gave us a call, and after coming away from the pitch feeling impressed (but also hesitant after their previous experiences), Atera signed a six month contract with an initial three month trial to test Page One Power services.
After three months, Atera's campaign had generated 16 links with an average Domain Authority of ~39 — Alex felt comfortable with the project, knowing he could trust the quality of the links and wouldn't need to micromanage link evaluation. After six months, Atera had seen a 306% increase in organic sessions — this growth was only achievable because of the solid SEO foundation Alex built for Atera and his willingness to form a true partnership with Page One Power.
Atera wanted to grow organic traffic and increase the amount of new visitors to their site, and one of the chief ways we achieved these goals was by improving search rankings for relevant transactional keywords. To improve transactional keyword rankings, Page One Power helped Atera create linkable resources, which internally linked to Atera's key converting pages.

Page One Power has helped Atera create content that earns relevant links and drives keyword ranking improvements across the site, as well as captures organic traffic to Atera's blog. Atera's blog has existed since 2015 with ~80 indexed pages, but within only four months of publishing content, P1P-created content accounted for 8% of monthly organic blog traffic — and traffic wasn't even the primary goal for this content, as it was created to earn links, which it also did (20 links). This project highlights the power of simultaneous investments into content creation and link building.
One of the primary reasons Atera's campaign was so successful is Page One Power was given time — and put in the effort necessary — to learn about the industry Atera operates in. This research led to better, more authoritative content and a deeper understanding of which links would deliver the most impact.

Page One Power developed an understanding of Atera's industry through extensive keyword research and competitive analysis. This understanding empowered Page One Power to create relevant, linkable content that fueled link acquisition and increased search rankings.

306% INCREASE IN MONTHLY ORGANIC SESSIONS.
One of Atera's primary goals was to increase organic traffic to their website. After six months of working with Page One Power, Atera had increased their monthly organic sessions by over 300%! These increases came as the result of improved rankings for Atera's established keywords, as well as expanding Atera's rankings for new keywords.
Atera saw their rankings for their important transactional keywords increase, on average, by 18 positions. Page One Power also helped Atera move from outside the top 100 to position two for an important, high-volume definitional keyword. These rankings increases were achieved through creating linkable content, earning backlinks to those pages, and flowing that link equity to other relevant pages via internal linking. These internal links helped boost the authority and visibility of converting pages.
Another important goal for Atera's project was to increase the amount of new users visiting their website. Atera's site is the primary way they convert customers, so an increase in new users equated to an increase in leads and potential customers. Page One Power identified a new keyword set that Atera had a page for, but the page wasn't optimized and subsequently wasn't ranking well.
Page One Power included internal links that pointed to the suboptimal page within the linkable content we created — the linkable pages earned backlinks, link equity was directed to the suboptimal page, and the page went from ranking outside the top 100 to position two. Since this was a "new" keyword for Atera, it's likely the organic traffic from this keyword included mostly new users.
According to Google Search Console, the content that Page One Power has created for Atera has generated over 43,000 impressions in organic search and earned 166 clicks to Atera's website. These numbers become even more impressive when you consider that these pages are part of a linkable content strategy, where the primary goal isn't organic traffic, and rather to acquire relevant backlinks for the domain.
These numbers demonstrate the potential gains Atera could continue to make with a sustained investment in content creation and link building for their website, considering this is only a 6 month timeframe. You can imagine how these numbers would scale over 12 months, 18, two years, etc. — SEO is a long-term strategy, and with sustained investment you can achieve exponential growth.
