Hello and welcome to the Linkarati Roundup, where we feature the best SEO and link building content of the week.

We curate the list of must-read content to save you the time and trouble. This week we have million dollar content analyzed, news regarding Google's Penguin algorithm, a recap of Page One Power's SMX presentation, and more link building information than you can shake a stick at.

1. Russ Jones' "Million Dollar Content - An Analysis of the Web's Most Valuable Organic Content."

Russ Jones comes out of the gate swinging with his first post on Moz as a staffer. Absolutely killer content that every SEO and online marketer ought to read. I'd say more but really you should just go dive into the post yourself.

2. Barry Schwartz's "Google Confirms The Real Time Penguin Algorithm Is Coming Soon."

Garry Illyes of Google made a few newsworthy statements at SMX East this last week. Key among them, in my opinion, is a looming Penguin update with the longterm goal of realtime updates. Plenty of wiggleroom left in the statement, but an update seems close.

3. Bill Hunt's "How Enterprises Should Approach Link Building."

Bill excellently covers our own presentation at SMX East about enterprise link building. Great post that encaspulates our experience and insight into building links for large brands. If you want to see the framework of how we build links at Page One Power, just check out Bill's coverage.

4. Loren Baker's "How to Build Links Using Data-Driven Content & Blogger Outreach."

Loren Baker, the founder of SEJ, needs no introduction. This is a long, great read about his own experience in building links, explaining in detail how specifically to create linkable content and secure links. This is a highly actionable post that every SEO, link builder, and content marketer needs to add to their list.

5. Tom Demers' "Identifying & Capitalizing on "Link Inefficiencies" In Your Link Building."

I've never read a post from Tom that I didn't like, and this post is no exception. Optimization is literally part of the SEO title, and here Tom shows specifically how to apply the optimization mindset to your link building campaigns. Recognizing and optimizing link opportunity needs to be part of any campaign, and here Tom shows you how.

6. Ricky Law's "Conversion Rate Optimisation: Closing the loop on abandoned baskets."

If you're unfamiliar with conversion rate optimization, or simply want to brush up, I highly recommend this detailed and organized post. CRO applies to nearly every marketing activity, with ecommerce as the heavily used example in this post.

7. Andrew Dennis' "Communication & Transparency In Enterprise Link Building."

Professional communication is key in any service related industry. Here our own Andrew Dennis shares our experience, insight, and best practices that we've learned in dealing with large businesses as a link building agency. If you're involved in SEO, link building, or even the broader digital marketing this post is worth a read.
